1 year old gift ideas

My tiny is about to turn 1 (What is happening?! Wah! *ugly crying*). We loved these items when our first turned one so much that we are going to get our youngest her own set too. Hope this list helps all you out there looking for gifts for the tiny 1 year old in your life. Great for birthdays and the upcoming holidays. Cheers lovelies!

We love this BapronBaby apron. My toddler still wears this for all the messy meals, we see you spaghetti and drippy yogurt. This is such a wonderful gift. Now my almost 1 year old needs her own too. Great for wearing in the kitchen to help stir muffin batter or for any arts and crafts projects. The prints offered for this apron are adorable.

BUBBLES! It seems that every kid loves bubbles. They’re tiny floating little balls with rainbows living inside – yes, I get it. This little bubble machine is so easy. You fill it up with bubble juice, press the button and sit back to a flurry of bubbles. It’s so much fun, both of our gals love this Kid Odyssey bubble machine.

My littles love dolls and stuffys. These Manhattan Playdate Stuffed dolls are so soft and squishy and it makes it so easy for my kiddos to hug and bury their faces into them. My gals love how you can change their clothes and that the doll comes with their own little stuffy. So cute!

My kiddos love looking at their Urban Kiddy photo albums. They love seeing pictures with their cousins, Tia and Gigi. It’s a fun way to remember fun events with them and see faces of family members that don’t live nearby. The baby safe mirror in the back is so much fun for them to look at their own faces too. It’s soft and light and it can clip on a stroller when out for a walk.

My nuggets love making music. They have several instruments a xylophone, ukulele, a tiny piano, shakers – you name it. My gals can’t get enough they love making music and love to boogie on down too. This PlanToys Hand Drum is great. Perfect place to play all your bingo bongos and get out a little energy. It’s a fan favorite over here, I recommend. And not too loud as some of the other plastic toys can get – blurgh.

This scooter from Hape has been in the rotation since my oldest daughters first birthday, she still loves it! It’s low enough so your little 1 year old has no problem holding on and saddling up to take a little scoot scoot. Powered by their own legs so they determine how fast or slow they want to go. They colors are brilliant and the wood is beautiful. This was a great gift that will be a favorite for a long time.

My little puts everything in her mouth – hey it’s a baby thing, so I was so happy to find these Honeysticks beeswax crayons. A healthy alternative for when everything is going into that little food hole. Love the bold, gorgeous colors. And their chonky size makes it easier for the littles to pick up with their pee wee hands. Honeysticks have so many fun products we’ve tried over the years – bath crayons, bath colors. Love this company and these bees wax crayons.

Oooh this is a super fun one. It felt pretty wild to me that our bebe who was just in full potato mode is now everywhere, pulling up to stand and dozing over everything. Our gals love their pikler climber. It’s so amazing watching them figure out where to put their tiny hands and feet and start climbing. In the beginning my husband and I were close to offer assistance and do the quick grab from any bonks but really they caught on very quickly and love it. Such a fun play area to work on their gross motor skills. Pro Tip – take those little sockies off before climbing, otherwise it can get a little slippy.

For those little babes who are starting to walk, walkers/push toys can be so helpful. This Woodtoe Walker is so sweet. Little wagon at the bottom to hold all their stuffys and many treasures. After they’re in full walking mode it converts to it’s own little wagon which our 3 1/2 year still loves. This little walker can grow with them and be in the play rotation for years.

Now that your little has taken their first steps or is about to, they will need some little shoes for all those outdoor adventures. These Cosankim first walker shoes are light, comfy, cute and protect those little tootsies. So many fun prints and colors. Love the elastic in the back for easy on and off.

My tiny laughs the entire time climbing in and out of this Lovevery tunnel. Such a fun place for imaginative play. Our 3 1/2 year old still loves crawling and adding this tunnel to the pillow forts she builds in the living room. A great gift, we absolutely love it.

Water (and being outside) seems to change any bad mood for my gals. This Step2 water table is full of fun ways to explore playing with water. Large enough that they both have their own space to splash and get wild with it. Easy to drain, love it. Highly recommend.

Hope this list helps everyone out there looking for gifts for the 1 year old in your life. Let me know if you have some other suggestions or things your little loves.

Cheers my dears.
